
Usher in the cooler temperatures and holiday cheer with this warm and delicious recipe for wassail. Not familiar with wassail? It's just another take on a classic hot cider drink you enjoy during the winter (or anytime!) And not only does this easy recipe taste great, it makes your whole house smell cinnamon apples! Yum!
What you'll need:
8 cups apple cider
2 cups orange juice
½ cup lemon juice
4 whole cinnamon sticks
12 whole cloves or 1 teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
2. Bring to simmer over medium-low heat. Reduce heat and continue simmering for 45 minutes. Ladle into cups or mugs and enjoy this warm winter treat!
